Bernice Suehwold: Owner, RN, BN, MSN
With a love for great skin, excellent ability to assess her clients, make people laugh and feel welcome Bernice decided to open her Fresh Look Skincare & Laser therapy clinic.
Bernice Suehwold, RN has practiced clinical nursing and nursing education for more than 28 years. She teaches in the new Saskatchewan Collaborative Bachelor of Science in Nursing (SCBScN), a program offered jointly by the Saskatchewan Institute of Applied Science & Technology & the University of Regina. Her teaching background includes medicine, plastic surgery, older adults, health education and health assessment.
Bernice has over 12 years experience as a business entrepreneur and combined with her nursing experience has successfully owned and operated businesses in the Regina area.
Although Bernice loves teaching she also loves business so she decided to put her nursing experience and her love of skincare together to develop Fresh Look Skincare and Laser Therapy. It is well noted that the baby boomers are always looking for ways to stay younger and the medical esthetics business is a booming industry. It is here that she decided to put her energies into helping people do just that.....maintain a youthful looking appearance. Utilizing some of the best known lasers on the market and her business expertise you will find her clinic warm, friendly and very welcoming. Set in a confidential environment Bernice welcomes all her friends and business associates to visit her and her daughter and see what services they can provide to help you maintain your youthful look.
Desiree Suehwold: Manager/ Medical Esthetician/ Lash Technician
Desiree has been in the Medical Esthetics Industry for 10 years. She loves to travel ,read cook ,exercise and mostly spend time with her huge extended family and large friend circle. Desiree is the owner and active general manager of Fresh Look skincare and laser therapy clinic. She has recently been made a loyal team member of QC skin studio which is conveniently located within Fresh Look. She is passionate about her career and managing the clinic.
Desiree graduated from Richards Beauty School for esthetics in 2011 and received her Laser Technician Certification soon after. She is trained and has received over 10+ certificates from Image Skin Care who provide our clinic with medical grade skin care line and chemical peels. In 2012 She received her Eyelash Extension certificate from X-treme Lashes in Victoria B.C and has also taken a second course in both Classic and Volume Eyelash Extensions in 2014 from Fantasy Lash in White City, Saskatchewan. In 2015 Desiree completed her Microblading certification from the Esthetics Institute in Calgary, Alberta and in 2016 she ventured Winnipeg and received her microneedling Skin Pen and PRP certificate and has been trained and certified 3 more times since. Soon after Desiree and the rest received her second certification in Laser Therapy from Syneron Candela which consisted of diode laser, fractional ,and RF energy.
Fresh Look invested in the Gentlemax pro laser device and she received her certification for YAG and Alexandrite laser as well as vascular laser. Desiree received her Permanent make up certificate with Be-Lux Academy in October of 2019. She was trained in lip blush, cosmetic eyeliner and cosmetic tattooing of eyebrows. Just before the pandemic she retrained and recertified for the 4th time with syneron for some even more extensive training in laser treatments, IPL, and radio frequency energy.
In 2020 She teamed up with Dr. Richels and Dr. Maroof to expand out and learn even more about the industry. She then got the opportunity to learn about other medical grade skincare lines, trained in Clear & Brilliant , Coolscultping and the most recent of services Morpheus8 microneedling with RF.
Desiree loves the upbeat and thriving industry of Medical Esthetics. She loves to keep on top of new and upcoming services but most of all, she adores her clients and for some, now feel like family to her. With treating over 5000+ clients she is someone you can trust and feel comfortable with all of your skincare and laser treatments. She will always go above and beyond for her staff, clients and superiors. Desiree hopes to continue her journey in helping people with their skin for many, many years to come.
Raylene Briltz: Medical Esthetician/ Laser Technician
Raylene is licensed skin care specialist with areas of expertise being microneedling, dermaplaning, facials and peels.
Having struggled with problem skin herself she decided to get a diploma in skin care to help others struggling with their skin journey. Raylene has also taken training through Fresh Look for laser hair removal, IPL, Morpheus8, and Coolsculpting.
She has a passion for helping people & building confidence in others. She enjoys the busy, upbeat and forever growing industry of medical aesthetics. In her spare time she enjoys golfing, boating, camping, and spending time with her family. Raylene is a passionate, dedicated and hard working new member of the team. She is eager to gain more knowledge and she looks forward to meeting her forever clients.
